Missions & Ministries
Wildwood Food Pantry
The Wildwood Food Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families in and around the Ute Pass area. We welcome pantry guests as neighbors, helping each other through hard times. As a "Guest Choice" pantry, we invite our guests to select the items they need from a menu (as items are available). Read more...
Worship Team
Our worship services are heartfelt, collaborative offerings that coordinate scripture, preaching and prayer with small ensemble music and creative arts. Pastor and musicians, liturgists, sanctuary artists, greeters, ushers and the tech team contribute together in thanksgiving to God and for the development of Our Faith.
Music Ministry
Our Music Ministry team includes a Vocal Choir, Handbell Team, Organist and other instrumentalists. We diversify our worship experience with music provided by our Bluegrass and Celtic music teams, as well as guest musicians. Our Music Director holds an advanced certification in handbell conducting and is working on other musical opportunities for the community. Read more...
We Care Team
The We Care Team helps the congregation stay connected and coordinates mutual care and support efforts. This caring ministry takes welcome and joy, fellowship and fun to new levels, and not just for the congregation. The team also hosts events to bless the community and provides hospitality services during church and town events.
Sisters Helping Sisters
This mission sews re-usable feminine hygiene products for girls in countries who don't have access to them. When the pandemic hit, the group retooled to help on the homefront, making masks for health care workers and first responders. Now they are back to their original mission and open to new volunteers!
Prayer Team
When people or situations need help from a power higher than anything in this world, this team goes into action! In the spirit of hope and healing, strength and fulfillment, members pray specifically on matters people request as well as for situations in the world.
Community
We share our building and grounds for community support groups and events, as well as town visitors. We broadcast wi-fi into our courtyard and street front so people can communicate. We have a water bottle filling station for thirsty hikers. We just completed extensive renovations to make our facilities ADA accessible and to qualify us as a shelter for wildfires and floods.
